Antique Glazed Persian Ceramic Pendant

This brilliant turquoise pendant was handcrafted to perfection in the ancient city of Qom in Northern Persia. Qom has been a holy city to Shiites Muslims for centuries. The pendant was crafted by an artisan and fired in an oven to achieve the unique turquoise color that is known throughout the world. The pendant is decorated with in Arabic script and reads 'Allah'. This pendant has been guarded in a private collection for over 40 years. A rare find! Perfect for a special necklace or worn as is. Some wear or minor variation may be apparent.
