Commonly known as "River Amber" these natural resin beads are not nearly as old as conventional amber. Made from hardened tree sap, these beads share in some measure the distinctive color and semblance of amber without the high price. These natural beads are one of the few styles we offer from Guinea-Bissau in West Africa. River Amber beads are not typically found in such a large size and these would make a great home decor piece or accessory for your favorite room. Each long strand measures approximately 36" in length with individual beads measuring 5-12mm wide by 20-38mm in diameter. Each strand is unique and may vary from photo. Bead count is VARIABLE and may be 50-100 beads depending on the thickness of the beads. Only a limited number of strands are available. Shipping surcharge may apply to some international orders due to the size / weight of this item.
