Admire this unusual strand of bone beads from Kenya. While Kenyan bone beads are common in a variety of shapes and styles, these beads come in a hard-to-find cylinder shape. East African bone beads are handcrafted by artisans using recycled cow bone. Each bead is individually carved and polished, and is truly one of a kind. These beads measure approximately 24-26 x 25-26mm, with a hole size of 4-5mm. Strands measure approximately 24", and have approximately 20 beads each. Shade of carved design may vary between dark black and grey. Level of polishing and quantity of eyes per bead may vary slightly from photo. These are a great find for any beader looking to do something truly unique with their work!

ASTOUNDING! These are beads of Power and I think they need to be carefully used with great respect. I don't know if their maker felt that way, but I certainly do. I really love them. What significance do the

eyes have? I also wondering whose bones these were - cattle? Camel? No matter; I am very glad to have them.
