Product Details

Hand-crafted in Kenya, this beautiful carved wooden bowl is inlaid with batik bone. The custom-made bone pieces are dyed in a traditional East African design, then set inside the wood. Available in a variety of sizes, these bowls work great as decorative pieces and can be placed on coffee table, dining table, or bookshelf. Drape a strand of our much loved batik bone beads inside for a perfectly balanced centerpiece! This bowl measures approximately 12-14 x 7-8 inches. If you prefer the wood grain to be more vibrant, lightly apply some mineral oil with a sponge and you'll see the colors come to life!

Beautiful (small) tray

I love this tray. I wish it came in a larger size but I am happy with what I have. It comes as bare, kinda dry looking wood and I'll be honest and tell you I gave it a coat polyurethane, a nice satin finish. But that was just my choice, your mileage may vary. It is a beautiful, well made tray and I'm happy to have it on my table.
