Take a look at this great strand of round islamic feather beads. Similar beads have been found at ancient sites throughout the northern parts of West Africa as well as Indonesia. The feather motif is an ancient pattern identified in beads from as far back as antiquity. Each strand measures approximately 22 inches long, with beads measuring 11mm in diameter. These beads are handmade so there is some minor variation in shape and size from bead to bead.
