Admire this great Nepali locket pendant. Each pendant is made by setting a round stone between two engraved brass caps. Lapis is a natural stone that has been prized since antiquity for its deep blue color. Lapis stone from the mines of central Afghanistan has been used throughout history both in jewelry as well as to make distinctive blue dyes. The striking detail of this small pendant is apparent in the careful workmanship. Each pendant measures approximately 26-28 x 8-10mm. It can be incorporated into your custom jewelry designs, or simply strung on a chain as is!

Turquoise brass capped locket pendant

Excellent craftsmanship and beautiful design in this turquoise colored bead capped in decorative antiqued brass components, with a small red bead on the bottom tip. The metal loop is soldered securely onto the pendant. In my opinion, this is a teardrop pendant or charm, but I don't consider it a "locket" as described in the listing. Has an "old world" handmade look to it.
