Product Details

A beautiful strand of powder glass African beads, made by the people of Krobo Mountain( Ghana , West Africa ) , resembling old Venetian FANCY trade beads. The strand is over 35" long . Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then into molds in order to create this nice looking beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water, which is applied using a thin wooden stalk. They are cooked a second time to fix the decor.
