Admire this unusual strand of bone beads from Kenya. While Kenyan bone beads are common in a variety of shapes and styles, these beads come in a hard-to-find unusual "bamboo" shape. They are dyed a special reddish orange color to resemble African coral. East African bone beads are handcrafted by artisans using recycled cow bone. Each bead is individually carved and polished, and is truly one of a kind. These beads measure approximately 13-15 x 5-7mm, with a hole size of 1.5mm. Strands measure approximately 30", and have approximately 50 beads each. Two strands pictured. Each strand sold individually. These are a great find for any beader looking to do something truly unique with their work!
