Product Details

This great strand of old trade beads also commonly known as "Dutch Donuts" due to it's ring-like shape. Beads such as these are said to have been brought to Africa by Dutch trades and as such have traveled at least three continents and have graced numerous owners. Small Dogons such as these are are more difficult to come by. Individual beads measure 3-6mm wide and 6-9mm diameter. Great for necklaces and bracelets or may even worn as is. Some beads may have chips or imperfections due to their age and extensive use. Each strand is unique and may vary slightly from strand pictured.
