Check out these beautiful large bone batik from Africa! They are hand dyed beads from Kenya, Africa. The dying method is known as "batik", which is a wax relief process. The design on these is an unusual carved design. These beads are strung on raffia and could even be worn as is. Some strands have a more worn vintage appearance. The strand is approximately 25-26" long and each bead is about 24mm in diameter. They are perfect for any of your beading needs! Due to the handmade nature of these beads some beads may have a wood core that is more secure than others.

These beads are lovely but they’re a bit dirty. They needed to be clear coated so they wouldn’t rub off on someone’s shirt. Just keep that in mind when you buy these.
