Product Details

A beautiful strand of powder glass African beads, made by the people of Krobo Mountain ( Ghana , West Africa ) ,reproducing old Venetian FANCY trade beads. Made from bottles and other glass items that are turned into powder, then poured into molds in order to create this nice looking drum shaped beads. Decorations on the beads are made with a paste made of colored glass powder and water, which is applied using a thin wooden stalk. They are cooked a second time to fix the decor. The beads are handmade. This strand is especially long, giving you more beads for your money.

Awesome Beads!

These beads are so beautiful and in perfect condition. They are exactly what I was looking for to make necklaces out of them! I am grateful to the bead chest for having such an amazing collection of beads!
