Fabulous strand of old annular wound trade beads also known as "Dutch Donuts". These african trade beads have traveled at least three continents and have graced numerous owners. Beads may have small chips or corrosion due to their age and extensive use. We are told they are German trade beads which were used in African trade in the late 1800's. It is very rare to find such a strand in this rare amber color, and in such good condition.
