These Brass "Round Flat" trade beads are from Ghana, Africa. Each bead is made individually through the "Lost Wax process" technique. The strand is about 30" long and the beads about 25mm in diameter and approx. 6-8mm. thick.

Used as they are or worked into a piece of mixed media art or enameled, these brass filigree beads are just amazing.  They inspire me to do so much!
